Description of the program

With foreign study funding, qualified students (Masters) at German state or state-recognized universities are supported.

Material and non-material support have the same priority. Scholarships, tuition fees, foreign surcharges, etc. ensure the material framework conditions. Participation in educational activities, active commitment to the scholarship holders and the contribution of ideas and contributions to the work of the foundation bring the ideal support to life.

The following are not funded:

  • Second degree
  • Part-time courses
  • Distance learning courses that are not completed full-time
  • Advanced and supplementary courses
  • Bachelor courses for foreign, non-EU students
  • Studies in the final phase (minimum funding period 2 semesters when starting the scholarship)
  • any type of project (internships, language courses, travel allowances, etc.)

target group

Politically liberal committed and responsible young people from all disciplines at universities of applied sciences and universities in Germany. The promotion of talented students is open to all subjects taught at state-recognized German universities. Anyone who receives a grant from the Foundation for Freedom is part of the liberal family.

Academic requirements

With the foreign study grant, qualified full-time students are funded at German state or state-recognized universities. Foreign students can apply for a scholarship in the master’s or main course of the state examination.

duration

The minimum funding period must be 2 semesters at the start of the scholarship. Funding is initially granted for one year. Extensions up to the end of the course can be granted upon request.

Scholarship benefit

The scholarship in the study grant amounts to a maximum of 861 EUR per month. There is also a health insurance grant. In addition, there are a large number of projects, events and initiatives in the field of non-material support.
